If we consider the results of the University of Melbourne study this would confirm the considerable savings in winter heating. While the payback based on gas use are not the reason we had the product applied, it certainly contributes to the payback and prolonging the life of our roof.

We see a number of advantages with this product, increases the R rating on existing roofs up to R4-5, increases the life of the existing roof material by min. 10 years, improves water sealing of the roof, provides better temperature control between summer/winter, which relates to better efficiency and lower operating costs, reduces operational impact to occupant, since the roof structure is re-used.
